After more than 20 years of professional photography I have decided to become a sculptor. The last five years or so I have been learning the skills to make very lifelike and detailed sculptures. Some of them can be seen here in my portfolio. However I must say they all are not finished yet. They lack colour. In the year to come I will paint them all true to live. My aim is to have my first sculpture exhibition in the summer of 2015.

I am keen to work with models male or female that are enthousiastic about posing for art purposes.
When I work with a model my method is for each pose to take pictures of the model in 360 degrees to cover every angle of the pose. This concludes wide shots, close ups, overhead shots. (this means I can sculpt when the model is not around. For reference I look at the pictures on my computer screen when I sculpt.)

Of course I prefer to Work on my sculptures with the model posing in front of me. But the proces of making a statue takes one to two months, so it is impossible to have a model around all that time. It would be great but not affordable for me. That's why I use pictures.

Occasionally I still make pictures for a photography project.

I welcome models both for my photography as well as my sculpting.
I take assignments in portrait and model photography as well as portrait sculpting.
