About Me

My name is Calvin Play and I am from New York City. I am currently twenty years old and studying Music at New York University. I am a graduate of the Vocal Music department at the Professional Performing Arts High School (same school Alicia Keys graduated from) in Midtown Manhattan. I am a baritone that finds a way to mix melodic soulful lines with a hint of rifting on the side. I have performed on stages such as Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theater, the US Open, and the United Palace Theater.
