About Me

I am an amateur photographer...so taking pictures is not my 'day' job. I have gotten to a place where I am technically proficient; but I would like to do things that are INTERESTING, primarily. I hope that I can meet like-minded people in the area that need some shots done for free to get themselves started so that I can help out while adding to my portfolio.
I have had the privilege of taking photos in Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, and various places throughout the US. I think that humanity/people is what makes photos most interesting: a landscape, mountain, river, etc. can be stunning when seen in person and can make a wonderful image; but to connect with a photo or to be provoked by a photo, it takes a person! People find other people endlessly fascinating, to say the least!
