I'm a local Des Moines area photographer attempting to build my portfolio in hopes of one day earning a living doing what I enjoy.

I'm always looking for people to work with in a variety of settings and styles to improve my self and my portfolio. I'm open to any type of shoot, from mild to wild, in pretty much any location. If you have an idea or concept you would like to see captured by a photographer let me know. My rates are vary competitive and always negotiable. I'm willing to do TFCD shoots as long as they are beneficial to my portfolio or I am feeling generous, however paid gigs will take priority over trade shoots.

Please do not contact me wanting me to pay you for a shoot; I find that very unprofessional. If I contact you that's a different story, then you can give me your rates.

Like many of you I keep busy with work and life so please keep that in mind when requesting to do a shoot. I prefer to have at least a one week notice and would really like 2 weeks notice.

Now for the part I shouldn't have to write:
If we have discussed a shoot please follow through and ensure we have all the details worked out before the shoot date....or tell me you changed your mind. Please do not commit to something and leave me hanging wondering if you will actually follow through.

If we have planned a shoot do not flake, it's rude and extremely unprofessional. I understand life happens, if something comes up please have the courtesy to let me know. If you flake on a shoot chances are you will either have to pre-pay for the next shoot or, if it was a TF shoot, I may not work with you at all. I do not like being that way but it isn't that difficult to let someone know you can't make the shoot for whatever reason.
