Hi, my name is Najeebah Sultan and I have had the pleasure of working as a professional hairstylist for the last few years. I do have a cosmetology license and experience working with some of Manhattan's most prestigious salons. I have also spent time working in specialized salons. Working for salons that specialize in a particular skill has given me the tools to work with all hair types, textures, and styles.

I currently freelance as an editorial, film, commercial and bridal hair stylist.I am capable of styling any type of hair from beauty, avant garde, to editorial.

Right now I am interested in working on photo shoots that will add to my portfolio. I am very specific about the shoots that I am willing to volunteer for. Unfortunately if your shoot does not meet the criteria for what I need to complete my portfolio, I will only take paid assignments:

* I need ethnic models for my portfolio (African American, Asian, Latina)

*Tear Sheets for LEGITIMATE magazines. I will style for certain blogs, celebrities, fashion designers, and anything bridal (bridal shoots, bridal magazine, bridal blogs)

*I need avant garde looks. I can be really creative with hair and need some pictures that showcase over the top artistic styles.

*Period hairstyles (Georgian, Victorian, 1920's, 1950's 1970's)
