Photography has always been a constant in my life, as far back as I can remember. My Dad was an avid photographer for many years, and could always be seen carrying his trusty F5, which he still owns to this day. His passion eventually inspired me to pick up a camera, and before long I was hooked. I started shooting everything that I came across, from wildlife to architecture, but when I started shooting portraits of my friends, something instantly clicked for me. The personal connection I felt with all of the people in front of my camera was incredible, and my work seemed to reflect that. My focus changed to portraiture, and I strived to learn as much as possible from some of the best photographers in the world. I read books, asked questions, and practiced as much as possible, trying to emulate the things that caught my eye in other photographers work. Eventually, I had the opportunity to train with one of my all-time favorite photographers, Peter Hurley, at his studio in New York City. It was an amazing experience that took my work to the next level, and showed me an entirely new way of engaging the people in front my camera. My portfolio grew exponentially better after this, and I was hand selected by Peter to join a group of elite photographers around the world that can provide amazing photographs to clients in areas that he cannot reach on his own. I’m currently the youngest associate photographer, starting a business and firing on all cylinders before hitting the age of 18. Providing high quality work to any and all of my clients is always my top priority. My photography has come a long way in the last few years, and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.
