I am TWISTED, I am EDGE, I am CREATIVE, and I am ART!

My name is Amanda Chapman. I'm form Atlanta, GA. I started out as a graphic designer wanting to design high fashion magazines. Upon graduating I realized that not only did I want to design magazines but I wanted to design the fashion that went in them as well. I've worked in retail since the age of 14 and have always been fascinated with clothes. I would imagine styling myself and others wearing the most trendiest outfits and feeling good about ourselves. One of my favorite hobby's is viewing fashion magazines and putting my spin on a garment making it my own. My go to designers that inspires me is Rozae Nichhols of "Clover Canyon", Roberto Cavalli, Naeem Khan, and Alexis Maabille.

Even though most of my background is in retail, I didn't know the first thing about running my own fashion label. I knew what I would love to wear and started there. I began sketching ideas, and remember thinking what's next. I joined groups on LinkedIn and ask about creating samples for my collection. One member reached out to me and offered me the chance of a lifetime. He invited me to India to source fabrics. Fashion had become an obsession on mine and something in my heart told me to take the risk and make the trip. It was a trip that turned my whole life around in a positive way. My LinkedIn connection later became my mentor. He taught me about fabrics, manufacturing, production and distribution.

In 2012 I introduced my brand, Adnama Nampahc pronounced (A.dän.ä.mä: meaning worthy of love) ) to the world. Adnama Nampahc is my named spelled backwards. My first collection was entitled "HUMAN NATURE" and was inspired by all things nature. My 2nd and current collection "RATED E" was inspired by my travels around the world while pursuing my dreams. I was able to experience diverse cultures and wanted to share it with the world.

Colors sets the tone and affects your mood in positive and sometime negative ways. Therefore I love using bold, bright colors and prints throughout my collection. I understand that no one body is ever the same and prefer to make custom and tailored made pieces to fit customers body types. Confidence, attitude, and exploration of various lifestyles and cultures inspires me to build a brand that allows individuals to be happy and content of who they are on the inside as well as outside. It is my goal to build not only a brand but a household name. When people wear my fashion, I want them to feel good about themselves. I want them to feel as though they are wearing the embodiment of happiness itself.
