I HAVE A CRAZY HUNGER FOR INTELLECTUAL STIMULATION... DO YOU???? "Intellectual stimulation allows the leader to encourage others to think through issues and problems for themselves so that they develop their own abilities." I am on a spiritual Journey. WHAT IS SPIRITUALITY? Spirituality points to our interiors, our subjective life, as contrasted to the objective domain of material events and objects. Our spirituality is reflected in the values and ideals that we hold most dear, our sense of who we are and where we come from, our beliefs about why we are here-the meaning and purpose we see in our lives-and our connectedness to each other and to the world around us. Spirituality also captures those aspects of our experience that are not easy to define or talk about, such as inspiration, creativity, the mysterious, the sacred, and the mystical. Within this very broad perspective, I believe spirituality is a universal impulse and reality. What are your thoughts on this? I am just a messed up girl from New Orleans coming out of darkness and into the light:::
When a moment moves me, I do the Robot::: Often times in our lives we come across people who are there to help us in our life journey. Other times we come across those who want to destroy our path or detour us from it. These people come in all forms, but by no means are they purposely painful or unnecessary. They're there for a reason, be that to teach us something about ourselves or warn us about whom or what we could become if we're not careful. People in general are not purposely evil, they're different versions of life. We all try to live up to the best versions of ourselves. You don't have to agree with those who cross your path. You don't even have to like them and if in good conscience you can't agree with them or associate yourself with their character, have the understanding that people are going to be who they are and there are going to be times where you can't change that. Have a heart of understanding because without understanding there can be no mercy, without mercy there can be no forgiveness. And without forgiveness how do you ever expect to "grow?" You don't have to be a religious person to be a righteous person, but your faith should be a testimony by what you do. We can all say what great things we will do for our neighbors, but how many often forget to actually do it. This world is such a beautiful place if we can just all come together and accept the good in all differences amongst one another. I believe that God will use me to show others the goodness. There is hope when all else fails.
Truth is I'm a hot mess but the good thing is I've been working on that. I'm not perfect and I don't pretend to be. I'll be the first one to tell you that I'm a HOT MESS and then I'll share my flaws with you. I find the most interesting thing about another human being are their imperfections. Sometimes, We strive so hard for perfection that we forget that imperfection is happiness. For example, We look at the scratch but completely miss the diamond. ♥ ♥ ♥
I am twentysomething at heart. I feel like an adult, and I'm optimistic about life. I feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. I'm still figuring out my place in the world and how I want my life to shape up. The world is full of possibilities, and I can't wait to explore many of them. Belief in yourself doesn't mean the absence of self-doubt. It's like being a duck; calm and unruffled on the surface, but paddling like hell underneath...
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, coworker, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), *but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.*
And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
*Everything happens for a reason.*
Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness, and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.
Without these small tests, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you become. *Even the bad experiences can be learned from.* In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
*Make every day count.*
Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen.
Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to.
Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
*Most importantly,* *if you LOVE someone tell him or her, for you never know what tomorrow may have in store.*
And learn a lesson in life each day that you live.

I pay no mind to the negative kind cause that's just no way to be. I don't stop to please someone else's needs, I live my life for me. Until you've been where i've been, felt what I've felt and wake up everyday in my shoes living my life from day to day your judgement nor does your opinion matter or count to me.
