Born in Hong Kong, at the age of six Cream Wong used her natural talents to create wallets out of nothing more than just construction paper, gift-wrap, and snap buttons. And at the age of seven she used her sister's makeup to give herself her first makeover (she used pressed powder, eye shadow, and lipstick).

After three more years Cream has been applying makeup by herself ever since. Also many of Cream's friends and classmates learned from her how to properly use and look better using her technique. Now after all these years, even after some of them attended professional makeup schools, her friends still think that Cream Wong's methods and techniques are both the best and the easiest to apply. Later on in her life, at the age of 17, Cream became a makeup sales person for the brands Shiseido, Kanebo, Kose, and after barely a month she was promoted to supervisor. She started selling the common makeup lines and quickly moved to the luxury lines. Cream didn’t see a future being a supervisor so she came to LA to study business at Riverside College. Her luggage was mostly filled with makeup, and at school she would help her classmates with their
makeup especially when they attended social events.

During college, her business professor saw her drawings and was so impressed, she wrote a recommendation letter to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). She graduated in fashion design and worked at several places such as Forever 21, Guess, and in the short time she was in Hong Kong she worked at a company called Theme and quickly became a senior designer. Later, Cream got inspired by yoga and attended a rigorous training course and eventually obtained a Bikram yoga license. After that accomplishment Cream got trained and received a certificate for acrylic and gel nails because of her love for
artistic works. However, throughout the years, Cream did not forget about her enthusiasm for makeup. She joined the Grace Lin Professional Makeup Team, which is where she did makeup for weddings, pageants, and other such events. Afterwards, Cream went solo and did both engagement and the official wedding makeup. Cream is also self-taught in permanent makeup (eyelash, eyebrow, and lip coloring).
