Hi Zsofia,
i am a designer and i am scouting models on behalf of 'The Hotel', who require models for the release of their EP.
This would be a great opportunity for you if you are looking to get some great editorial pictures! There is also a star role opportunity for their release video.
THE HOTEL PHOTO SHOOT
Art & Direction – Abdou (OSB)
The artwork and direction of the project will infer the overall image and direction of the Hotel brand with an emphasis on enforcing the identity of ambiguity while generating interest from various channels.
A range of images and photos will be used for developing artwork materials alongside other things. A Demo Photo shoot will be conducted (Wednesday 29th August, the brief below):
We want artistic pieces, which not only look amazing but also communicate a narrative which The Hotel’s music is enriched with. Our style is mixture of photography and illustration in which we require models who don’t (necessarily) have modelling experience but who we consider beautiful, people who can be themselves and portray other personalities on camera.
- The aim of the shoot is to gain visuals for the EP artwork; we are aiming to gain narrative based shots, which tell a story relating to songs by The Hotel or concepts created through these songs.
- For the photographer Quality is essential.
o Shots of The Hotel will be: Very passive, portraits, full-length body shots, group shots (preferably in twos) ones with the hotel just standing/sitting there passively while the girl(s) are very animated etc.
o The models need to be captured looking beautiful and show personality through body language, poses and expressions. In these shots, models will need to show moments of sadness, lust, anger, excitement and causal pondering. (If required) take instructions on certain non-graphical poses (there will be no nudity).
