I have always enjoyed photography, but became serious about it around eight years ago. Although I have taken a couple of workshops and classes, most of my skills are self-taught from books, training websites, and many, many shoots. I have gotten to the point now where I have won several competitions, have had my work published, and actually teach photography workshops on a regular basis (both private sessions and at Looking Glass Photo in Berkeley). My professional work ranges from weddings, to events, head shots, family and individual portraits. Although I have done some product and real estate photography, my passion is in photographing people. This led to my decision to look to Model Mayhem for additional subjects to help me create even more attention-grabbing photos.

My primary goal is to create visually interesting and unique work. At this point, I am willing to do paid shoots with a specific goal and occasionally, time allowing, trade-shoots with models looking to add style to their portfolio with ideas that excite me to add to my own portfolio. I love to find models I can work with regularly and collaborate with to have fun and create strong images. I fully expect photography to be a big part of the rest of my life and hope that Model Mayhem will be a great resource in this journey.
