About Me

I am the eponymous hero of ‘Pictures By Jay’ where I provide a portrait photography service in St. Louis, MO. I use a combination of Off-Camera Flash (strobism) and ambient light, and I'm comfortable both in and out of the studio.

Like many photographers, I have a day job that pays my bills, so I'm normally only available for collaboration in the evening or at weekends, but if you have a project that seems like my speed, I'll make some schedule adjustments to fit you in.

Professionalism is guaranteed at all times on my end - and I expect the same from those I work with - my time as a photographer is limited and precious to me, so punctuality and reliability are a must. Having said that, I also like to keep things fun and relaxed when shooting - so be serious about your work, but don't take yourself too seriously!

I am willing to work TFP or TFCD with any models, MUA, designers or hair stylists looking to increase their portfolio, just get in touch and let's see if we can work some magic!
