Born in New York in 1968, I first used the camera to document life in South Africa during the Gen X years. I moved to England in 1997 and co-founded one of London’s pioneering photographic special effects companies. With the use of pioneering digital techniques, I quickly built up a world-wide client base and worked on many prestigious campaigns..
In the early 2000's, during a holiday, I began photographing my girlfriend in a pin-up style, and within a short time he had swapped my established London career for the precarious life of a state-side pop-art/fetish photographer. My concern for the subject is strongly evident in my images. I strive to capture the subject's spirit, and blur the lines separating different gender roles. My photographs of people reveal a compassionate understanding of my subjects, evident in his books Living London and Trading Places: The Merchants of Erotica.

I have earned international recognition for my work, including The Power of Photography Award, The Golden Eye of Russia, and multiple Lucie Awards.
