Hello, my name is Josephine! I was born in Ghana, west Africa and raised in Cleveland Oh. For the past 5 years I've been a psychology and sociology student at Wright State University. I am very much intrigued by people. Interacting with people, analyzing behaviors and making sense of social adversities are just a few things that I have come to acquire and love.

I am 22 years old and ready to experience new avenues. I enjoy being in front of a camera and want to make it one of my professions. My dark skin would help diversify the social inequalities of what is perceived as beautiful or a social norm. The lack of variety I see, as well as many others, in modeling advertisements skews the psyche's of many young girls.

I am joining Model Mayhem in hopes of meeting all different kinds of photographers and other models that could help get me started in the right direction. I have no experience in professional shoots but I am very open to criticism and advice. My mission on this modeling journey, is to get a portfolio started and to gain more knowledge on what it takes to successfully appeal to prominent modeling agencies.
