Juan Pablo Castro was born in Cali, Colombia, in 1985, into a Catholic family that drew up a strong religious perspective of his view of life. He studied industrial design in Colombia and passionately worked there as a designer for a few years. He designed interior spaces for apartments and houses, created stylish product images and introduced innovative design concepts for some Colombian industries.

Despite his love for his career, he felt the need to pay attention to his greatest passion: photography. This led him to establish his permanent residence in Miami. His new destination opened the doors of a world that fascinates him, a world where the beauty of images and graphic art merge with fashion, aesthetics, human sensuality and even theological divinity.

Images attracted him since he was a little boy, possibly even with the same intensity with which he came to love, admire and inexorably respect God. It was at age 23 that his passion for photography truly lit up. This happened after a trip he made to several countries in the Middle East. The Arab world allowed his eyes to see much further and deeper than ever before, the influence of aesthetics crept into his senses as the power of images would forever create an indelible mark in his life.

He is an admirer of the beauty, forms and composition of the human body. At the same time, he can see in the images of fashion a bastion of elegance, power and influence.

His work is the product derived from an exceptional cocktail: images always accompanied by design, color and music. His utmost dream is to become a world-renowned photographer; an eclectic and inspiring photographer capable of capturing through his lens the perfection of God as it is reflected in humanity. He wishes his images to harmoniously absorb design, graphic art and psychological elements. His ultimate goal is to increase and exacerbate the beauty of the world so that he can make an impact on us all and thus leave behind a valuable legacy for generations to come.
