David Bever is a Certified Professional Photographer, Educator, and owner of dB L.A. Photo, a Temecula photo services company specializing in event, fashion photography and education.  With an MBA, David utilizes his educational background and experience to provide personalized strategy and business planning education and workshops.  He was most notably a lecturer at the January 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas NV and at The Big Photo Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center in May 2013. 

As a photographer, Dave utilizes his 25+ years experience, along with the best camera and editing software available on the market today to provide exquisite images sure to draw emotion.  For Dave, event photography includes Weddings, Plays, Live Bands, and Runway Fashion.  He also is proficient in product macro photographer to ensure your products sell.  Dave also is a freelance photographer for the Torrance Tribune Newspaper.

As an Educator, Dave applies his 25 years of experience in teaching studio lighting, Intermediate Photography Skills and leading outdoor photographic adventures for the Creative Photo Academy at Paul’s Photo, located in Torrance CA.

As an entrepreneur, lecturer, and business strategist, David strives to enhance the photographic industry.  He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and California, and enjoys helping small photography related businesses grow and remain successful in an era where everyone owns a camera and brick-and-mortar establishments are quickly being replaced with non-personal internet businesses.  Dave has multiple publications on STRATEGY, BUSINESS PLANNING, and DIFFERENTIATION in the California Professional Photographers Magazine and in the Detroit Professional Photographers Magazine.

Located in Temecula, CA., I have my own fully equipped studio that's great for everything from headshots to family portraits. In addition, I have a staff of three additional professional photographers that work together to bring the best results to your wedding or other special event.

What I bring to every shoot:

1. Experience – Tell me what you want, and I’ll figure out how to get it

2. Energy – I bring lots of energy to the shoot.  Never have to worry about lack of inspiration or being bored.  Equates to fun (for those that want variety of options) and efficiency (for those that just want to get it done and go home)

3. Creativity – Always looking to do something edgy or unique – can be lighting, pose, makeup, location or attire (like getting married in a black wedding gown)

4.  I provide unlimited rights with no restrictions to all images shot (JPEG final images only). I typically provide final images within 24-48 hours.  I do ask for a model release so I can use them in my portfolio, articles, and classes.

• Professional Westscott lighting
• Umbrellas, softboxes,  barndoors, reflectors and backdrops
• Photoshop CC with NIK software filters – the ultimate photo editing software combination
