Martin Narrod is a 28 year old photographer and art history student living and working between the Chicago Metropolitan area and the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a fixture of photography at Chicago's Thomas Tomc Gallery, his work has been published in a multitude of online fashion and editorial blogs, including TimeOut Chicago, Racked.com, and musedandamused. In addition to working as a photographer, Martin is the Director of Client Relations & Social Media for Chicago's Luxury Lifestyle Boutique Bonnie&Clyde's. There Martin utilizes his multi-faceted skills in customer service excellence and professional networking skills in providing clients with an unparalleled experience in fashion, music, culture, and the arts.

Martin loves to travel and has been to several different countries. His extraordinary interest in meeting new people and generating new personal and professional contacts is met with an intense desire to learn foreign languages. After being raised in a community that recognized Spanish as a second language, Martin moved to the Czech Republic where in addition to learning to speak, read, and write Czech, he studied International Commerce and Buisness Strategies as well as Hotel Management and Hospitality. At Columbia College Chicago Martin studied Art History/Art Management and Women and Gender Studies. For three years of his education at Columbia College Chicago Martin studied French as well. With a propensity for learning languages so easily, he recently has started teaching himself oral Arabic. When asked why he liked learning languages, he replied, "I adore people, and every time you learn to speak a new language, you make yourself available to an entirely new group of people."

In his personal life Martin is fascinated with fashion, poetry, and the visual arts: painting, conceptual art, and sculpture, studying figurative realism with Master painter Ryan Shultz. Martin enjoys writing considerably and writes regularly for Bonnie&Clyde's blog, including writing "real-time" reviews of New York and Paris runway shows. Martin loves dressing in bright and colorful clothing, eccentric pieces of elegance and the avant-garde. Lately he has worn pieces many outfits by designers Rick Owens, Gareth Pugh, Rad Hourani, Robert Gellar, Henrik Vibskov, Kris Van Assche, Versace, and Acne. He has been known to style his own shoots from to time, and is fascinated with intense verticality in his own style of dress but also in that of his subjects.

Martin would really like to utilize ModelMayhem to meet models, other photographers, and agencies to work with on others' creative agendas but as well as meet models to shoot for the several publications he shoots for as well as for Bonnie&Clyde's.
