About Me

If you like my style and want me to help you CAPTURE THE REAL YOU
->MESSAGE ME HERE now.<- I'm always preparing for a shoot.
My biggest request is that you're natural.

There are 3 SIMPLE STEPS to working together.
1. You message me.
2. I'll ask you to send me Photos of you Right Now.
3. I'll determine which project you might be a fit for and tell you the shoot date, time and location.

That's it =)

A typical shoot with me looks like this...

1) You'll submit photos to me via Model Mayhem, email, or text message.
The photos I ALWAYS ask for are 'Unedited', 'Self-portrait', 'Hair down', 'No make-up', Front/Back/Side/Sitting/Leaning over side/ and anything that you feel will set you apart. The reason I'm asking for this and not your portfolio is because I want to know what you look like RIGHT NOW and more importantly, you're the canvas that I can paint on and with and your portfolio shows me what ANOTHER artist created and edited and painted. I want to know what I'm working with to complete my vision. I'd like to see your portfolio as well if you have one but I care more about this first step then anything else. If the shoot is nude then you'll be asked to submit nudes in this form, of course. If the shoot is in a T-shirt then you'll be asked to submit in a T-shirt. I'll communicate with you well and you'll know what I'm thinking and we'll determine between the two of us if we feel we have a fit with each other.

2. Compensation.
Everything I shoot will have compensation. I understand the value of art and respect that by paying for your contribution to art as well. I take this very seriously and believe the value that we provide as artists to the world is invaluable. I believe that taking you seriously means you'll be compensated as well. Sometimes the compensation I offer may be more or less than you're expecting or want. The solution is simple. Talk with me. Ask me. Turning it down because it's too low doesn't make sense. And being nervous to try because it pays higher than usual also doesn't make sense. Everyone has an equal chance.

3. Scheduling.
At this point in time I tend to shoot on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. I also like to shoot in the morning or before sunset. Sometimes there might be a night shoot but usually not.

4. Location.
Sometimes there's an area we'll drive around looking for something fresh that works but most of the time I've already done the scouting and know the area and will send you the google address. Depending on the shoot I also use the model's location or home. If you've worked with me before then you know what this does for you. Depending on the model I can get the natural flow better if we're in the usually surroundings. Sometimes going to my studio brings out the "acting" in the model and I'm not looking for acting. I'm looking for honesty and truth so my goal is to help you be you. I don't want "sexy", "seductive" or any other fake thing that looks weird on camera with you floating on thin air. Unless that's the real you, then I don't want it. I'll help you bring your sexy or seductive out by being yourself.

5. Shoot day.
Please show up 10 minutes 'early.' "On time is late and early is on time." That's the military quote and also what my teacher drilled into us in High School =) You can bring any snacks you want but be ready to work hard and be focused. We'll usually get the shot in the first hour so I wouldn't say we'd go past two hours unless we're playing and find some magical location or something different than originally expected.

6. Closed set.
I sometimes have a female assistant but if she's not available I work alone. Energy of the set and the day is everything to me so I guard that strongly. Unless it's commercial work, the work is nude or suggestive and I don't want assistants distracting the model in any way so it's just me and you. Some models have people escort them or wait outside or nearby during the shoot if it's their first time shooting with me but no one on the set or talking or distracting you, your thought process, or the flow.

7. Photos.
I don't really do photoshop. You'll see some of the photos in camera on the shoot and the rest will take a few days to upload and go through to see what's being kept. If the shoot is being prepared for a gallery then it's paramount that the photos are protected and not released or 'leaked.' If this is the case then I'll keep you updated and show you the gallery in a protected way, possibly in person or in the studio. If I can let you have some of the photos then at this time I'd provide you with a link to some watermarked images.

8. It takes between 2-4 weeks after a shoot to have something that you can look at so please be patient after the shoot and know that we'll get back with you once everything is ready to go. Also please be sure that you have submitted your model release because any delay in that will affect the release as well.

That's it.

I hope to hear from you soon and I look forward to working with you if you feel we have a fit.
