About Me

My name is Alexandra Hearn and I am a British Freelance Makeup Artist living in San Diego. I have been doing make up for 5+ years, professionally since May 2010 having graduated from MUD Burbank. I specialise in bridal and special event makeup, but also work in editorial, runway, film/commercial, while applying skills in hairstyling learned at MUD and wardrobe styling I have learned over the years of studying/being involved in the fashion world. Having modeled previously, I am very involved, in touch with and understanding of fashion and that world. While living in San Diego and being able to work pretty much all of Southern California (up to Orange County and Los Angeles) while frequently back and forth to London, I am willing to travel nationally and internationally under negotiation. I grew up traveling all over the world with my family and have seen diversity in beauty, fashion and culture.

I believe in letting natural beauty shine, so I make it my mission to make every client look naturally gorgeous, playing up best features. Beauty is being the best version of YOU.

As this is my JOB, I only sometimes do trade for print/portfolio building projects.
Rates:
*Full face(special event makeup): $50
*Special event hair & makeup: $75
*Master class: $150-200
*Bridal package: price negotiable through inquiry, generally $200-400(consultation, run through and application**),
----> ** includes products bought specially for client and complimenting makeup for one other member from the bridal party
*Set makeup (photoshoot/film): Generally negotiable and dependent on project, but basic rates run from $50-100/hour, contact for half/full day rates.
