Originally from the Boston area, I moved to TX in September 2012. I lived south of Houston for the past year and just very recently relocated to Austin. I am a licensed stylist in MA, professional makeup artist and re-emerging alt model new to Austin. I have worked in salons as the lead makeup artist, stylist's assistant, am a former MAC artist and have done several freelance gigs under my former school's direction (Lowell Academy Hair Styling) as well as under my own name.
I especially love doing themed work (pinup, character, celebrity looks, avant-garde etc) as well as glamour and bridal makeup, event or special occasion, and on-location work for shoots. I am experienced in many areas of makeup artistry, but there are still some areas I need more experience in, such as body painting, full face and body airbrushing, special effects makeup and editorial work. I really want to perfect my current skills, but also gain hands-on experience in the areas of makeup artistry that I am not as familiar and comfortable with.
I'm considering starting a freelancing business in Austin, but I would like to add some newer pieces to my portfolio first and broaden my abilities. I am really looking to build my portfolio to include a diverse array of examples of makeup artistry, and of course, keep learning, striving and perfecting. XX
