Model turned actress Miss Koi got her start in modeling in 2004 when several photo shoots she did hit the internet, resulting in a significant and loyal fan base. Never one to follow the crowd, Miss Koi steered clear of work that would result in her being labeled a "video vixen" and carefully chose her future projects.
On September 10, 2008, KING magazine featured Miss Koi on their highly popular website in the "Pretty Young Thing" series. The response was so significant that within a week Miss Koi was featured in as the Webwatch Honey in the nationally circulated print publication, Hip Hop Weekly.
In 2010, Miss Koi started a new path in acting in local plays, movies and short films.
