About Me

I am interested in photo shoots and workshops and networking with other photogaphers and models. It's great to share experiences and knowledge of the fun art of photography. There is always something new to learn. I also like the creative ideas that can pop up at any given shoot when a photographer and model work together at any given location through improsation with what the model, photographer, and location bring to the shoot.
I think it is the photographers job to make the camera compliment the model as best as he can by making it reflect her beauty and or convey her/his attitude...to my mind the idea is to capture something that has life otherwise you might as well just shoot pictures of a mannequin.
Plus, the models I have met so far have been professional and seem to be as serious about their craft/art/trade as I am about getting a good shot and I want to earn a models trust and confidence by letting them know I'm not going to portray them with images that don't compliment them.
I recently did a workshop and I really got ticked when a few gwc were hogging the sets and models time and later saw some of the worst offenders duck out without really complimenting the models and worse not paying them after they had given them so much of their time and effort.
I've got a lot of ideas, and my photographic interests pretty much run the full spectrum but I my favorite genre's are glamour (non-nude and nude), (Art non-nude and nude), (Erotica non-nude and nude---not porn....my definition is a sexual theme or element to the pic...although to be brutally honest when does any picture of any woman not have a sexaul element of some sort for typical males...LOL (I hope your laughing too).
Like so many other photographers, what I am after is something new, fresh, and different and without sounding too corny...something inspired.
I know I got a little long winded here, but I wanted to give you a little better idea of what I would be after in a shoot and my style.
