My name is Amber Cummings. I started out in photography with my Dad's old Nikon EM. I absolutely loved every bit of it, and found myself becoming the family "photographer" alongside my brother. In 2006 during my second year of college I opted to transfer from Campbellsville to Northern Kentucky University to pursue an education in photography. This pursuit ending in 2008, when my photo teacher Barbara asked me what kind of photography I was interested in. I had responded with portraits, and weddings. (at the time, this was very accurate) I remember she laughed at me, and told me I was wasting my money with school; that I didn't need a degree to do those kinds of work. So I dropped out, and started shooting freelance.

That's when an old friend from school introduced me to a truely amazing photographer named Jesse Fox. modelmayhem #353848

I did one shoot with her, was completely smitten and opened up to an entirely new genre of photography.

So now, I'm here, looking for adventurous models with dreams of their own to help create some hopefully beautiful work with.

also, I'm very poor, so I pay in prints and digital files for portfolio purposes. :)
