Joe Vumbaco's love for the art of photography started his junior year of high school, spending whatever free time he had in the darkroom. Since then Joe has continued to grow as a photographer, both in film and digital. In May of 2012 he graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art with a Concentration in Photography. He also is part of the New York Institute of Photography. Currently Joe is furthering his creative learning at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, Connecticut.​

Joe aka JoJo aka Joey aka VUMBACOO aka whatever you feel like calling him has been staying busy working closely with Chef Lori Carusillo on creating a unique cookbook full of good food and comedy. Photographing food may be new to this photographer but he is always up for expanding his horizon. When Joe is not busy holding himself back from eating all the yummy food on set he is dressing and undressing his friends…the mannequins at Calvin Klein where he has worked for the past 7 years. JoJo’s next move…the BIG APPLE! So NYC (and your innocent residents) get ready... cause the city is about to get a little crazier...so keep your eyes open for this up and coming photographer.
