If I was to tell you what I like about myself as a photographer, I would tell you this...
I like that I care so much about detail, and the way I create a "cinematic feel" to a photo shoot. I like to use a fog machine with colored gels over my flash strobes for an added dramatic feel on the set.

I take time to listen to what others have to say and the patience to fulfill their dreams or envisions before and after a shoot.

Hi, I'm Rafael and I am a professional photographer serving all of Southern New England. I have been a photographer for over 11 years and done work for Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard CT, Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk MA., and close to 200 weddings & events.

In addition, I teach non-credit courses; "digital photography & Photoshop" at Bristol Community College in Fall River MA. I also provide private lessons at my photography studio located a mile down the street from the College.

I have a photography book out and I am currently in the process of another, which will be about modeling poses. My rates are reasonable and am willing to trade time for DVD if I feel it will be beneficial to "you", and not just for myself. I am passionate what I do and want to share this with you in the images I provide for you.

My understanding and ability to control light, (No matter if it's over powering the sun under the worst lighting conditions) I can achieve any sort of photo shoot you can imagine... If you see some dream shot in a magazine, bring it to me and I can recreate it for you. I shoot with the D700 (and soon to be D800E) and high quality strobe lights that I can bring on location.
