About Me

The AVC is a collective of one with two aesthetic categories:

ILF Introspective Low Fi
Film based essayistic images predominately found in fine art, indie fashion magazines and where photography and other arts merge (i.e. musicians, painters etc).

G glossy
In a nutshell the more commercial look of AVC defined by the same principles of beauty and integrity as ILF but more suited for mainstream media and industry trade (i.e. headshots).

Photographer
Yaya: self taught South East based artist.
Influences/Inspiration: cinematography, fashion, art, hip hop and my life.
I am interested in working with male and female models in all shapes and sizes for projects in both categories as well as video. I have had some set backs on this journey so I see model mayhem as a big step for me and I want to connect with as many people as I can while creating art and making a living.
