Born and raised in Los Angeles, Caroline Valmont grew up appreciating the fruits of culture that surrounded her. Living Downtown, she enjoyed the arts of LACMA, MOCA and the Getty Museum. Her introduction to makeup was when her sister forced her to be a model and applied a red lip and green eyeshadow. It was a true disaster. Later in life, while in the United States Navy, she realized her creative talent had lain dormant in the art of makeup.
In the five years she spent in the military the greatest creative joy and outlet was to work on herself and others with colors, to reach out to people and make their days better with a simple beauty look, or the feel of sexiness. She has seen the world and many of its cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. In all she witnessed, there always could be found beauty and uniqueness. Remembering that, her desire is to recognize and bring out each person's unique beauty through the craft and art of makeup.
