I am I guess what you would call a hobbyist at this point. I have been interested in photography for over 20 years and just in the last 3 years have moved in to photographing people. Prior to people photography, I was mainly an aviation photographer, published in several magazines. That got old however and I didn't enjoy having to go so far from home to find subjects. I wanted to try something new, and one of my friends enticed me into taking some photos of her and I was hooked! I have been piecing together equipment since then and now have what I need to suit my style. My style is to make my own light. I do not have a studio. My photos are all done outdoors or at a location. I have two DSLRs, 3 studio strobes, portable power for them, softboxes, reflectors etc. and am entirely mobile. Nature is the best backdrop anyway. For now, I am doing this for fun but who knows where it will lead? I want to work with some new people so message me up!
