About Me

My name is Robert Gale but everyone calls me Rob. Ever since I was 7, I was interested in photography. It has been my passion and I have enjoyed meeting new people. Hence why I joined Model Mayhem.

Education

In 2010, I attended the International Academy of Design & Technology (no longer in operation) I received an associates degree in 2012 at the top percentage of my class as Summa Cum Laude. Since 2013, I currently self-teach myself by keeping current with the industry. I research new technology and photographic techniques by being actively involve in Facebook photography forums and by watching YouTube tutorials. Everything in life is an educational process and I will never stop learning about my photographic field.


Work Related Experience

Over the past 10+ years, I have worked among several professional photographers at IADT as well as others in the field. After college, I worked for Lifetouch (now bought by Shutterfly) for 4 years. My specialty was in senior portraits, school events, and sports. After graduation in 2012, I created a DBA and in 2015 I made the business into an LLC.

My Areas of Photography

An image speaks a 1000 words so lots of images will become a novel. My work varies from many forms of styles and mediums. Personally, my specialty are for portraits, weddings, events, and sports. Basically, anything involving people. I am always open for new forms of mediums and ready to try new things.

Photographic Areas

I do both on-location and studio work. It all depends on the look and feel that both the client and firm are looking to accomplish. If done on-location, the environment is key to ensure proper lighting. Depending on the location permits may need to be pulled. If done in the studio, it would be done at my residence which I will provide you the address.

Compensation

It all depends on the job. For new models, time-for-print is awesome because both parties benefit. This is usually my personal favorite. For other types of photo shoots, details about payments would have to be discussed. I am flexible depending on the work that needs to be done.
