At the early stages of her childhood Anya has only been interested in drawing and sketching outfits for imaginary girls on paper. It never occurred to her that styling has always been a part of her life.
Fast forwarding and graduating from Blanche Macdonald for fashion merchandising this year, it’s been exciting to finally start building more of her portfolio and is eager to meet the world of fashion. Working with people from the industry only inspires her more.
“ I truly believe looking good is feeling good. Fashion is everywhere and what defines or characterizes anything is how it’s been styled. You cant judge a book by its cover but clothes are a way of speaking without saying anything . I really feel that it is important for a man or a woman to carry herself well in how they dress, it is the first impression you get from person and it could be the very well best impression with what you wear. The fun part about fashion is you can be whoever you want to be in what you wear. Style is about having fun and being edgy on some days with a bold statement accessory or being seriously all about business with a minimalistic look but unique tailoring. It depends on you and wearing it with confidence.”
