Growing up behind the Hollywood Hills didn’t keep Kimmy Erin Ratican from being in the spotlight. At 16, Kimmy was already styling magazine spreads on the beaches of Malibu and in 90210’s most famous hotels. While studying Creative Writing at the University of Southern California, Kimmy interned for Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine gaining access to the fashion, beauty, and entertainment big leagues. From there, she launched her freelance career as a writer, stylist, merchandiser, and on-air hostess specializing in fashion, beauty, entertainment, and event reporting (editorial, TV and video). Top Los Angeles boutiques invited Kimmy to appear on newscasts (LXTV.com, KTLA News, Good Day LA) as a trend analyst and Women’s Wear Daily, Ology.com and Women’s Health have called on her as a retail and style expert.

As a stylist, her fresh take on fashion and steely eye for detail has been sought by stars such as Josh Kelley, Katherine Heigl, AnnaSophia Robb, Jasmine V, Jessie James, Haylie Duff, Olivia Munn, Mary Steenbergen, and Lauren Conrad, to name a few.

Kimmy has also spent time in New York City as an editor, focused on fashion, beauty and lifestyle for teens for Alloy.com, gURL.com and Teen.com. Kimmy got her big break in front of the camera hosting, directing, and producing a series on life behind-the-scenes of NY Fashion Week shows on Teen.com, which aired on New York City’s official Channel 25. She has also launched many successful webisodes on fashion and style including the DIY sensation Teen.com Craft Club with Erica Domesek and Kit Scarbo, Behind the Seams, an insider’s view into designer’s daily lives, and Cosmetic Confessional, a peek inside celebrities cosmetic bags. When she wasn’t busy with editorial and video production, she was shopping Manhattan and Brooklyn’s best boutiques and building a jaw-dropping closet for her clients to pick from.

In September 2011, Kimmy launched her own YouTube channel, MissKimmyErin, in conjunction with Maker Studios where she shares weekly fashion tips and answers users questions.
