Hi to everyone :) My name is Tamika and I am 26. I am enrolled at Empire Beauty school and I have been attending for five months now. I am a senior and I am starting to build my clientele. I as well try my best to be an over achiever. My g.p.a. speaks volumes and after completion I will come back to attend Empire to become a teacher. I not only live this life I breath this. Being a hair stylist is not only a dream but a passion of mine. It is more so like an art to me. To start off with a blank canvas and then be able to intertwine bright colors and shades of depth into hair or cutting with my shears and sculpting hair into a idealistic trendy cut is what I live for. My job is to appease my clients which I love to do. I'm business professional as well because this is not just a job this shall be my career. I'm building in order to be somebody I don't have to be rich or famous I just want to be comfortable. I recently competed in the nationals at Hershey park and placed 4th out of 105 other students :) it's very satisfying knowing that this is a career I'm so passionate about.
