I am a "working" photographer. I shoot portraits (including pets) and all the other things photographers do to make a living in this competitive world. In other words I do this for a living rather than a hobby. I spend the majority of my time in a studio, so I prefer location shooting for my fun stuff (this stuff). I love location shooting simply because of the natural lighting the sun creates. I have the power heads, strobes and lighting rigs, but it still can't hold a candle (pardon the pun) to the beautiful light that the sun gives.

I would like to expand my portfolio and am looking for male and/or female models, stylists, mua and hair. Also interested in collaborating with select photographers. Depending upon the model, I would be open to shooting most genres or scenes if it interests me. Photography is an emotional expression of a visual medium. "Pretty" is a subjective component of photography, but good energy is a must for me.

So many times a planned shoot goes in a different direction...that's when the exceptional images happen...You just never know. I love to photograph moments as they happen.

I am looking for mellow, easy going professionals or amateurs who know how to project his/her energy, is present and knows how to collaborate. I can give direction (and do), but I love the spontaneity of someone who is emotionally invested in the shoot. The best models have lived life and age is not necessarily a factor.

Unless I am being employed for a shoot, I do not pay for models. You will be compensated with images you can use any way you choose, except to sell them. If I sell any of the images, I will give you 25% of what I make. A standard model release will be expected.
