G,day I’m Dale.
My passion is photography (as well as dirt biking ;) and I guess I’m a relative “new-comer”, only really got more interested in the last 2 years after my brother was unable to ride after an injury. I’m a shift worker and live locally but I originated from the NW coast of Tassie.
The majority of my images are landscapes and in particular long exposures and I have them displayed on these 2 web sites below. Last year I was lucky enough to win a national competition and travel to the National Film and Sound Archive and meet The Hon Simon Creen ;)) I have several framed prints for sale and on display in the LGH and the new art gallery at Stanley.
My reason for joining MM is to gain experience and work with models and maybe help out aspiring models to get a better portfolio. I won’t be charging for cd’s and I am very open to hear your ideas and thoughts and I could teach you a little about photography? Working in a female dominated work place I think I’m respectful and very honest and pretty easy goin.
The genre I’m most interested in is “implied” sexy erotic and moody type work. I have heaps of ideas and would love to hear yours!! I do have a little experience in this area but need more to build my PF. However I am open to all suggestions! Photography gear is not cheap and that’s why I take my work very seriously. I don’t have an actual studio, but do possess back drops, flashes and soft boxes.
I am a bit of a “tight arse” but when it’s something I love it’s a different story, and I am more than willing to drive you to locations, buy food and drinks and maybe even flick you a few bucks ;) and as I get out into the bush quite often & I do know of quite a few beautiful spots.
At this stage I’m a little nervous, but very keen to learn so please don’t hesitate to contact me!! This is also the best time of year and I’m recovering from an injury so I’m free.
