Born in Italy, in a private clinic called “ The Sun Clinic “ she grew up Between two beautiful cities : Caserta and Rome.
She studied psychology , pedagogy, anthropology, philosophy and completed a course of English studies in Scotland and London before she started her years in the prestigious University “La Sapienza “ in Rome, Italy. It's only in the 2007, after she retired as a Model, that she moved in Virginia Beach and fall in love with the Hampton Roads Area.
“I do not remember the day I opened my eyes to the world for the first time but I’m certainly that my father Francesco was there, ready with his camera to photograph that precious and unique moment of my life.
My father followed my steps everywhere with his Pentax , building memories for me and showing me his collection of books and his “Encyclopedia Of Photography” when he had the time. He was very passionate about that hobby, about that black box that could in globate moments and capture them. His passion became mine and after I moved the first steps I couldn’t leave the house without my little camera. I grew up holding lenses, taking photos , playing with photo editing programs. I can’t remember a day in my life when, even out with friends I didn’t have my camera.”
During her teen age years she debuted in the Fashion Industry as a Fashion Model. It was almost a natural process and be in front of the camera was just what she knew how to do. She spent nine and half fabulous years in the fashion industry . She worked for important Stylists and Photographers and still, each time she was on set she had her own camera. She learnt from the Photographers movements, their photos , their portfolio and then she knew she was ready to be on the other side of the camera, to be behind the lens.
Her beginning in photography are unconventional, in that she didn’t have any formal training even if her interest in photography were born when she was born, that very same day she opened her eyes to the world for the first time.
“What I love the most is self – portraiture and the first attempt goes back when I was Daddy’s little princess and involved holding the camera out at arm’s length in front of my face. Since that day, I’ve changed so many disposable cameras and had my parents spent thousands of money each week to develop my rolls.”
She was in her 20’s when she finally decided to switch to the digital camera, even if, at first, she wasn’t ready to say “Goodbye” to the old fashion rolls and the dark room . The pleasure in shooting digital was immense: the relative quality, the lack of running costs and the control available in the post – processing true Photo Editing Programs.
