I was made in the 80's, 1985 to be exact! I'm told July 29th was a beautiful day in the small town of Scranton, Pennsylvannia (where everyone knows EVERYTHING about EVERYONE) So naturally, I came to be known as the creative and outlandish one out of my group of friends. And lets just say "It runs in the family".
As little girls, my big sister and I became fascinated with makeup after discovering my Aunt Carols extended collection! We would dig through drawers and boxes among boxes of colorful eyeshadow palletes. We would try on every shade of lipstick under the sun and leave her house with bags full of goodies.
As a teenager, I suffered from severe acne. I became obsessed with experimenting different formulas of foundations such as MAC, Trucco, and Bare Essentials to name a few. I wouldn't leave the house until my skintone was completely evened out. I always enjoyed helping my girlfriends put their makeup on, as I was always complemented by the way I would wear mine. I looked up to my sisters creativity so I was always going to her for tips and tricks.
After I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Managment, I followed a dream and moved to Los Angeles, California in February of 2008. I enrolled in Make-Up Designory(MUD) where I studied Beauty and Special Effects makeup. Once I finished school I worked on photo shoots and short films for fun and later was hired by one of my favorite makeup lines, MAC Cosmetics.
After four amazing years in Los Angeles, I relocated back to the east coast to further my career as a makeup artist to a place where I can be closer to my family. I am currently a professional makeup artist in New York City, working on photography sets, photoshoots, and offer private make-up lessons.
