My joy is in working creatively with others to produce moving images that express the imagination, thrill the mind, elate the soul, and sometimes to arouse the body. 

Available to shoot content for your web site, gallery show, or other project, I am happy to collaborate with models on bringing their creative concepts into reality.

This is my side gig.  I have been a professional stage designer and technician since 1987, working with plays, musicals, dance, opera, symphony, live pop/rock/etc music concerts, TV, and film, and am a Journeyman Cardholder in the IATSE.  (The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories and Canada, which was founded in 1893.)  That continues to be my primary profession until the two can switch!

My "Photographic Ethos"
Typically, I am more interested in the impact of the emotion and feel of the image than I am with the impact of the visual specifics of the image.

My over arching goal with photography is to create a feeling and experience of connection for the viewer. Connection with earth, with other people, with home, with their community, with an experience, with their partner(s), with their family, with themselves, and/or with the model.  Often, I seek for the viewer to feel a connection with the model, as if they have been gifted with a rare insight into the heart/mind/ and-or spirit of the model.
