My name is Jai. I'm a photographer based out of Vancouver. Working in visual effects for the past two years, I have developed an eye for composition and industry standard photographs.

My educational background consists of graduating of The Art Instiute of Vancouver in Visual Effects for film & television as well as having earned a Certificate of Motion Picture Production at Capilano University. This brings me to the strong understanding of composition through cinematography and a strong understanding of numerous softwares ranging from 3D, to compositing, to minor photo-manipulation.

I picked up my first DSLR just over a year ago and instantly fell in love with photography, since then I have had friends and strangers constantly asking me for work. As I moved to more of a professional standpoint, they have now become clients. I love shooting street and capturing life as it is not seen in everyday life...but portraits for editorial fashion is what I would like to pursue. Hopefully, this photo-blog will lead me in the right direction to get some exposure in the Vancouver area.
