Click: Manage Photos (from blue link under black bank)

Click: Set as avatar (next to the foto you want to be avatar)

CLick the My Stuff option on the bar above.

Then select the 'Manage Photos' option

You will see all your images displayed. There should be a 'set as avatar' or similar option next to each. Click the button next to the image you desire to use as an avatar.
