Zaneta Bailey grew up in St.Louis, MO. She began designing clothes at the age of 10. She started by designing clothes for her animals then for women and children. She developed a passion for fashion design early and knew that it was her purpose. At the age of 20 she styled for her brother, multi-platinum artist, Chingy. This opened many doors for her and she learned a lot about the fashion and entertainment industries. She and a partner started a line called Pink Monkey in 2006. It took off fast with the help of her brother but the relationship with her partner became weak. While co-owning and designing Pink Monkey she received mentions on show like 106th and park and the Tyra show. She met with big companies like Iconix Branding, that owns Rocawear, Candies, Badgley Mischka, etc. Things were good for Pink Monkey but continued to decline between her business partner and her.
In 2009 Zaneta decided to create her own brand and do things her way. So she Z.Bailey Clothing was born. Z.Bailey is a contemporary yet very wearable line. Since starting Z.Bailey, Zaneta has appeared in many fashion shows and plans to take her line all the way.
