Thanks! I'm glad you like my paintings :) I use a photo as my inspiration but the finished painting doesn't always look much like the original photo unless it's a commission. I start with some oil pastel marks to map out the colors. Then I use a brush to apply thin matte acrylic paint. Finally I use a palette knife to apply thick acrylic paint that I've mixed with Golden High Solid Gel. It makes the acrylic look more likes oils.
