I have always been one to have dabbled in the arts and have been imbued with a gravitational pull towards expressing myself through creative avenues. Consequently, I have landed myself a hobby in Photography that I hope will grow and progress as I learn more and submit myself more fully to the art.

I started doing focused photography when I was 19 years old (about 7 years ago). I began with the standard 35mm black and white photography that held me hostage in a dark room for hours dipping my hands in what I call the "this stuff makes my hands smell like bacon" vat of chemicals. As time went on, I developed a strange curiosity in producing more "edgy" and "dark" images that spoke more to my quirky creative side (not shown in the preliminary photos I've uploaded thus far). Thus, black and white photography slowly became stifling so I moved on to alternative types of photography -color, digital, cyanotype, van dyke brown, etc. After about two years of structured photography I started freelancing by doing test shots, head shots and portraiture; and the rest, so they say, is history.

The reason why I'm on ModelMayhem is because people have encouraged me to take a chance, put myself out there and embrace something that I truly love doing.
