About Me

First person version:

Here are some interesting things I’ve noticed about the “Biography” page on most of the photographers I follow. They tend to be very “specific” with regards to skill set and style. They’re filled with all sorts of great accomplishments from the time it was written backwards; which leads me to believe the “Biography” is not finite. Lastly, they’re usually written in third person, which I assume means they ask a well known critic or writer to create something for them, or just copy & paste a snippet from a review previously released in a high profile media outlet.

So how do I fit my “Biography” page into the aforementioned format? I simply can’t, so I wont; but remember this is not finite so I might be able to fit it tomorrow. I am first a “computer geek”, and then a “photographer”. I used to think my love for photography was DNA-based because my “abuelo” and dad shared this love. But then it didn’t take me long to realize that everyone shares this love. Everyone loves photography! The idea of taking specific moments in life and making them timeless is not difficult to love. The difference is some of us decided to feed, develop, exercise, then flex this love with a purpose. I enjoy working with people (a rarity in computer guys) and seen the look of satisfaction they wear when I turn them it into a timeless legend. I also enjoy the tranquility of capturing natural landscapes, but at the same time the hostility behind the cityscapes.

And just for laughs here is the “Third person” version:

Vic is a Panama-based “computer geek” with a passion for photography, which should one day lead you to know him as “professional photographer”. His style reflects the juxtaposition of the environments he was raised in. From a bush boy in Panama with a respect for nature and a love for natural beauty and the natural flow of things, to a “3 train rider” in Brooklyn with a need to survive by making you see things the way he thinks they should be seen. But remember, this is not finite..
