Hello, thank you for your interest in my MM page. My name is Julie Jackson, I am a photographer based in Kernersville, North Carolina. I service the Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville and surrounding communities.

I specialize in artistic portraiture, glamour, classic, urban grunge and fashion photography. I have a small studio at my house, but prefer the variety and uniqueness an on location session provides.

I have been blessed with discovering my passion in life, I LOVE, LIVE and BREATHE my art. I have been a photographer for over 10+ years, and I am constantly learning and evolving my craft to provide my clients with the best! I am always open to new, creative ideas and/or opportunities for collaborative projects that showcase model/designer/artist talents that I find intriguing.

I am easy going and like to laugh and have fun during a session, it’s not uncommon for me to bring my ipod so we can dance & have fun to get you in the groove!

Your investment in your modeling portfolio is CRITICAL! Be selective in choosing Photographers that do high Quality work, even if that means you have to pay a session fee to get AMAZING images. Don't just aim for a ton of sessions that give you nothing more than few dozen snapshots or ameatur looking photo's at best!
“You only get one chance to make a good first impression.” – There is no business where that is more true than modeling. Every agency or client that you contact – your photos, comp card or modeling portfolio will always go in the door before you. Your modeling portfolio will be what sells you when you are looking for modeling jobs. In some cases, it can make or break your career. This is how designers view your overall appearance.
Set your standards HIGH! You MUST use a very critical eye when selecting any images to put in your modeling portfolio. Aim for Quality not Quantity. Make sure that the pictures that you show have the ability to WOW agencies and potential clients. A strong portfolio opens doors, a weak portfolio closes them.

TF SESSIONS:
My schedule is very busy so I am currently only accepting a very limited amount of TF sessions. Please contact me to see if you qualify for a TF session, please note that I stay booked 8-12 weeks in advance for TF sessions, so If you want a session with me you need to reserve your date in advance.

TF sessions are Trade For Digital Downloads
Model must arrive at the location we are shooting at with makeup and hair already done, time starts at the time you booked your session, not when hair and makeup is done.
• Sessions are for up to 1 hour within 15 miles of Kernersville (27284) at 1 location
• 2 outfit changes (a changing tent is available for on location shoots)
• 5-8 retouched, watermarked, Low Resolution digital downloads for your portfolio through Facebook or my website.
• All retouched High Resolution images can be purchased a la carte througth my website with a print release (a total of 15-20 retouched High Resolution images will be available for purchase)

PAID SESSIONS:
You have a greater chance of reserving a session with me when you hire me for one of my paid session dates, which are booked 4-8 weeks in advance.
Paid sessions are offered at a reasonable fee of $100.00. Paid sessions can often turn into future TF sessions if we both have a great working relationship and creative concept ideas.
• Paid sessions are for 2-3 hours within 30 miles of Kernersville (27284) at 2 locations
• Unlimited outfit changes (a changing tent is available for on location shoots)
• 15-20 retouched High Resolution images for purchase through my website with a print release
• Sneak peek: 2 FREE low resolution watermarked images through Facebook.
• All purchased images come with a resized watermarked image for posting on the web, Facebook or email.

If you would like to shoot with me, please have a clear description of a concept/idea you would like to express in your images. I encourage you to bring a variety of clothing, jewelry, accessories etc… almost every model tells me she brings too much to a shoot, and my response is “for maximum uniqueness and creativity….you can NEVER bring too much!”

All selected images for edits are chosen by me, and ALL images posted online in any form must be watermarked, images printed in magazines must give photo credit.

A note about TF sessions: I treat TF sessions as I do a paying client. I retouch images with the same high quality standards as a paid session.
SERIOUS MODELS ONLY: I am on time and professional and I expect the same from my clients. No show clients and cancellations for reasons other than an emergency will not be reconsidered for future sessions. I will respect you and I expect the same courtesy and respect for my time.
