I am a portrait painter. I've been painting for over 35 yrs. and in the portrait painting business for over 20. I'm presently taking a break from the business to paint the faces that I choose -- rather than commissioned works. I would like a model to sit for two oil paintings of equal amounts of work time (4-12 hrs). These paintings will be head-and-shoulder portraits. As payment, the model will receive the portrait of his/her choice. I have a studio located in The Artists Gallery at the Va. Beach oceanfront.This will not be a private session -- sittings will take place during gallery business hours.
