My name is Rachel. I am a 33 year old aspiring plus size model. I was born and raised in a small town in Southeastern lower Michigan. I have worked in the medical field for the last 12 years. I am married with two wonderful children. I have always loved to dance and sing in front of the mirror with my sisters. I have wanted to be a model for the longest time, but felt I had no chance due to the standard image of a very slim body type. I have been blessed with a unique natural beauty as well as a larger build. I look a lot like my late grandmother who always looked her best with her hair and make up. I also love to play around with my make up to create different looks. Over time I have realized that i need to embrace my beauty and further pursue my life long dream of modeling. I am prouder than ever of who I am and want the world to appreciate the girl next door type as well as the real type of people buying the clothes in the stores. My goal is to expand my opportunities and horizons while providing financial stability for my family. I enjoy working in front of the camera and finding different ways to capture and express myself. I have had two photo shoots in the last 6 months to expand my portfolio. The experiences were so rewarding. It just felt so right finally being "the model" in front of the camera like I had always dreamed. It was such a pleasure to embrace the moment. Photography is a true art to me.
