I decided to start doing photography while traveling in Japan in November of 2010, before that it was just point-and-shoot. Immediately once I returned, I bought my first DSLR and a week later went off to the London School of Photography for an intensive seminar. My main area of expertise (and where my heart is) is travel photography. I've taken pictures throughout Europe and in a few parts of Africa, having recently completed a project in Somalia. I like to stay open so I'm here to expand and experiment with other genres. As much as I love adventure and being on the road, I love taking all kinds of photos, so long as they are compelling and I find the subject matter intriguing or beautiful. I have access to plenty of equipment and have a working knowledge of photoshop (thanks to a few courses from lynda.com). I do this for fun, so let's make some art!
