Jayell Photography is Jetur and Lachelle Conway, our goal during each session is to find your moment and translate it into impactful images. In 2011 we started photographing friends and family with the hope of growing this into something special. Lachelle has her master’s degree in graphics and publication design. Her strength in the editing process helps to create professional and timeless images. Jetur is self taught and provides the creative vision for much of the photographs. The combination of both creates a comfortable studio environment that captures the essence of the subjects and a “out of studio” atmosphere that's professional yet non-pressuring.

Jayell Photography covers a diverse set of interests and performs a range of services from maternity portraits to beauty/glamour portraits.

Although I have captured photos of personal events and occasions for many years 2011 is when I begun photographing family, friends and the occasional referral on a part time basis as an amateur. I have however jumped in and taken a serious interest having a level of work that speaks volumes. I have taken an interest in photo’s with diverse settings capturing the contrast between very vibrant well dressed subjects and very unrefined raw settings such as subways, stone backgrounds, or urban scenes. I have also captured several studio portraits using various lighting settings to dramatically alter the feel of each subject and each photo.

Jayell Photography is interested in capturing a diverse array of work including newborn and maternity photography, couple and family photography, head-shot and modeling photography and many areas in-between. We are using this service as a means to expand on these interests.

Jetur and Lachelle have both been raised in the Washington Metropolitan area. Having lived in Maryland and Virginia, and working full time in Washington DC, we are familiar with countless unique locations though the region to provide alluring and captivating shoots. The camera equipment used is Canon professional camera’s and lenses including canon speedlight lighting equipment.
