Maxine a lover of skirts and denim fabric was disappointed with the selection of denim skirts available in stores, a common comment amongst friends. She decided to design her own skirts and in 2008 she launched a small collection of four skirt styles. She started her grass roots campaign by selling the skirts to friends and family and at small events across the city. Encouraged by the response she continued to create designs for new skirts for the collection.

The style is classic, sexy and chic all at the same time. Also, the fit turns the curves and shapeliness of the women into her greatest asset whether she is a size 4 or 18. All skirts are designed and made in Canada.

For Maxine denim is the fabric of choice due to its universality, suitability in all seasons and versatility. A self-made designer in the making - Maxine seeks knowledge from experienced designers and learning all she can about the industry.

Maxine would like to be able to cast models for photoshoots of her growing collection.
