About Me

Elena Hasnash is a Moldovan-born Canadian actress. In her hometown of Chisinau, she went to a specialized drama school and participated in various school plays. When she immigrated to Canada with her family as a teenager, Elena came across the Russian-Canadian Musical Drama Theatre in Toronto. She quickly became one of its leading actresses, and was named Best Actress of the Year in the 2008-2009 season. Apart from her theatre work, Elena is also a model, and was the cover girl for the 2006 Russian MasterPages and the mascot for the 2007 Russian Business Gala.
